BarriOceano - Casita Wave

BarriOceano is a tranquil resort offering a variety of modern accommodations. Come visit us and choose one of our four private houses, located just minutes from the stunning black sand beach, mangroves, and the village's main attractions.
In the center of the four cottages you will find a shared swimming pool, perfect for relaxing during your stay.

El Paredón offers a wide variety of activities for everyone. You can choose from surfing, exploring the incredible nature, kayaking, or simply relaxing on our comfortable terraces.

First level:

• Two separate bedrooms, each with a queen bed, air conditioning and a private bathroom with an open-style shower in the room.
• At the front of the house there is a small deck with a hammock and a view of the pool.

Second level:

• Living area, which is cool, spacious and has a fan.
• The dining room and kitchen are also located in this area.
• The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, etc. It also has a small tap for filtered water.
• This area does not have windows as such, only protective glass from the middle down (*check in the presentation photos of the place).
• The steps to the second level are high; consider this if you have an injury or condition that makes it difficult for you to climb them.
• The parking area is accessed through the sliding gate. It's usually unlocked; just push to open it. Park so that there's enough space for three more cars.
• The parking lot is not covered, therefore BarriOceano is not responsible for damage to vehicles.

BarriOceano is located in a small fishing village on the southern coast of Guatemala, which is currently developing and growing. It is still a rural area. We want to inform you that during the rainy season and peak tourist season (Christmas, New Year's, Easter, etc.), the electricity service sometimes goes out. When this happens, we also lose access to water.

We would also like to mention that our accommodation has palm roofs, so you can sometimes hear the noise of bats.
